 Here I have taken the pictures of the teachers from the before and pasted them on a new background, a picture I took in NE Iowa. I created a duplicate background and blurred it. Then I used a gradient mask to allow the foreground background to be sharp and the background background to be out of focus.

I also copied the one of the eyes from the teacher on the right and pasted it into the center teacher, and flipped it for the other eye.

This is a really good edit. You did an excellent job of opening the eyes of the man in the middle. If I had one nitpick, it would be the lighting and colours; but I am sure you already knew that ;)

well they sure look very very happy to be in that excellent environment rather in the school room ... i mean .. look at the guy . before he was half asleep and now he's 'out there' .. !!
great combination of images .. i often use adjustment layers in colour balance and/or levels to bring the colouring of the images more into line with each other, when combining different images that have different lighting and tones .. . :)
