 I had a lot of fun making these and similar shots. It was my first attempt at painting with light and playing with long exposures in the dark. I took many attempts both before and after this shot and this was mine and my mothers favorite.

The color was originally blue as I used a blue LED flashlight as my light source however I wanted to contrast the different moods by color so I adjusted them in Photoshop.

As I have shared before, I deal with bipolar-disorder on a daily basis, which causes a random mix of feelings both happy and sad. It was not my attempt to portray this when making this photo however I believe the relationship is clear in hindsight.

I know DPC has a "thing" for sharp bright colorful images but well, I don't, so we'll see how this does.

A very interesing shot, I cant say I like the colours, but I am giving you a 7 for being imaginative and carrying off your idea well.
