I think the DOF is very well done here, showing us enough context, yet muting the unnecessary. |

I, um... photoshop? Uh, no. No, I uh, ran out and bought an embroidery machine (one of those expensive industrial ones) and removed my own logo and embroidered the DPChallenge one on, sat back in my chair and recreated the same shot. Photoshopping it woulda been a big hassle. ;-)
Actually, unbeknownst to him, I stole it from Leo ( FocusPoint)'s image. |

Excellent shot - the sober look on your face, the almost tearing of the eyes....they capture what I think most of us felt as we read the news. |

It is very sad news. I left the family some love on their obit. page.
I like the change you made to the hat, makes me wish I had one... WAIT! I DOOOO HAVE ONE ;) Okay, nevermind. :P |

That was quite a shock to wake up to this morning - I figured it was one of those "closed my account" threads - really wish it had been. I like you not photoshopped by the way. |

yeah good shot, enjoy the perspective,if i had to critique i would say the hat makes it look like you are being paid by the company to wear it in the shot |

Definitely sad and somber news! You represented that well with this photo. Technically...I think you really nailed your DOF perfectly. the monitor blurred enough to focus attention on you, but not so much that it doesn't give context. |

I didn't really know Sean, but I can see that he was a valuable member of the community and that he will be sorely missed. I think your photo is a nice tribute to his memory. |
