I agree that the colors of the bee could be brightened, but this is still a great capture from a P&S. Good thing bees are relatively friendly even at the close quarters required for a P&S macro!

I would like these flowers even without the bee, but the bee adds a nice focal point. The light, color, and the lines and spot are what I like best. It's very cheerful and uplifting.

I always enjoy watching bees go to work, it truly is an amazing thing. Nice colors!

Love the rich chaos in this. Light and colour in the rhodo/azalea are delightful.

nice riot of colour and nice wing detail.

I wonder if it would be worth doing a little spot editing on the Bee just to make him stand out a little more ? Bring out those lovely orange/yellow stripes.

You did well to capture him though - they are a complete pain to get in focus as they just keep moving . .

Great colours and details. I might be tempted to crop in a little closer just to off-center the bee a bit, but that's just me!

These can be hard to capture, they're either buzzing around or you're running away from them! :) Great capture and beautiful flowers!

Good capture, they're never easy to get in a shot. I find that every time I'm ready and focussed away they go to collect somewhere else. Good job.

I like how it looks like the bee has a specially made seat in the flower. Beautiful color in the lillies (?)

Really does look like he's resting. Lovely colours and good focus. Too bad the little guy is in the shade.

Looks like he's actually resting his little butt on the stamens (I think that's the right word; I'm a little fuzzy on my flower biology), and then the lighter ones look like some sort of aliens supervising him ... or teeth, the one on the top left really looks like a tooth on a stem. Love the reflections on his wings. Lost the detail in the black on my monitor but still a really cool shot with that pose and fun details.
