You did the right thing with the switch to B&W with this one. It adds a feel that the scene could have been 50 years ago, or yesterday. I think that is what makes it connect for me.

You have taken an ordinary image and really pulled something out of it. You did a wonderful job of bringing the child into the centre of the photograph and making all the other "stuff" seem obsolete.

These are a great combination of shots. Things haven't changed... Color in the 2000's and B&W in the 50's. Wonderful addition to the image.

great the way you've intensified the light on her and the sharpness, bluring and darkening everything else ... its a great candid and so typically childlike .. so relaxed and 'floppy' .. if this was anyone other than a child in this position i doubt they would look so absolutely gorgeous .. quite unattractive probably .. love her beautiful sleeping face .. your processing is bloody brilliant .. !! .. sorry to swear, but 'very' just doesnt do it . :)
