For my sins, this was actually taken with my Tamron, but it was at 50mm so it still counts! I loved the way the light fell on this man, who looked thoroughly lonely at the bus station.

Editing is the usual stuff - channel mixer B&W conversion and some levels and curves layers.

I love all of the lines and the way the light plays on him. Ghe chair pattern leads you to him.

Nice candid, it's revealing without being exploitative or intrusive. I like that he is alone in that seating area while people behind are going somewhere. Good eye to see the dramatic light.

I love this type of candid shot and the B&W conversion suits this well. The light shining down really puts the focus on your subject.

Beautiful candid. The light is just perfect. You captured a lovely emotion... it's very sad.

Nice capture. This would be a scene that I would pass and tell whoever was with me it would make a great capture, but I wouldn't take it for fear of annoying someone. I love how is face at the top is fully lit but it fades as it goes down, adds to the lonely feeling.

Very nice with the high contrast - makes for immediate interest. The eye is wonderfully drawn to the guy on the bench/chair thing. Excellent.

You make me want to sell my camera and just look at your stuff. The light is wonderful here - and an excellent conversion. Too bad boysetsfire isn't here anymore - you guys have similar eyes for seeing the world in B&W.
