 Submitted just for fun... not expecting more than a 5.

There will likely be the nitpickers who think pets aren't a "someone", as in find or create a mask, and photograph someone wearing it this week - you likely don't have pets!

Pretty simple processing - dupe layer, cloned out hairs on the mask, USM, rough pastel filter, framed, and resize.

Heh, our dog wouldn't stand for that. I wonder if he is a good mystery dog that fights crime, or a bad mystery dog that steals sausages.

Perhaps next time you could consider having the dog in motion or some other way to tell the "mystery dog" story. Yeah, you're in focus and the technicals are done fairly well with regard to the "rules" but there is nothing super captivating about this on an emotional level.

Ah mystery dog... good luck! You and I have been called out on forums for having dogs AND DNMC. To offset those DNMC hardliners I will give you a 10 :)

I like the originality and the sharpness, I think this would have went better if the DoF created some background bokeh

NO - it's Mystery Dog, the new crime fighter, searching for clues on every lamp post, frequently barking up the wrong tree . . but in the end he always gets to feel their collar.


ps my dog would have chewed up that mask before I got a shot taken :- )
