 Found at Petrie Island, in Orleans Ontario. Small young little beaver watching us sneakily from the water. He ducked under into his dam shortly after this shot.

This surprised me when I opened the image. From the thumbnail I was expecting an insect. How special to be able to observe beavers in the wild -- as long as they are not cutting down your trees or flooding your yard. Nice shot. I like the way he is looking straight at you.

What I like here is that Beaver is so much part of the background, almost a quick flick of the artist's brush.

That is one guilty looking Beaver - I don't know what he's been upto but I don't think he wanted you to see him :- )

Wary looking little guy. You really do have to be fast to capture a shot of one of them. Otherwise all you get is the ripples in the water! :) Nice shot.
