 This is a half-face mask made of leather. The part over the face is fish leather. The whole mask is huge and was difficult to photograph, so I opted for showing part of it.

Used natural light from window.
Sharpened
Nik efex Darken/Lighten Center filter.

Tried in vain to fix that dark smudge on the right eye - it will have to stay.

This is very last minute. Good luck to moi.

This was one of my four 9's in this challenge, i'm surprised to see it under a 6. I love the colours and textures in the shot.

I knew you would enter this challenge - and you should know that as you are with bugs so I am with masks.

Having said that I thought you did a really nice job on this with. Super composition and a real nice range of vibrant earth tones.

It still makes me shudder though

Strong colours and a clever idea - the only thing that let's it down a little is the clear fact that she's wearing a mask - if you could have made that more seamless it would have fitted the title even better.
