 This guy was on the underside and with my bum wrist, it was a bit awkward but my trusty 50mm did its job in the focus department. I flipped it and then used the fractalius filter, although very minimally. I did a little sharpening tool but not much of that either. I kind of like him. ;~)

I don't know when these "no cropping" rumors surfaced, but I don't recall them being part of the original plan. So crop away! That mix of blue and green in the background is so nice, and the stinger really shines.

LOL, I had to re-read the first sentence a couple of time because I omitted the word and, and stopped at bum. Great bg and nice sharp detail.

The background is delicious. Love the comp, the different textures and the colors. Glad you can contort despite your bum wrist.

Glad to see you're back in action again.

Neat quasi macro shot. My only suggestion would be to do a bit of dodging on the wasp. He's blending a little too much into the background.

They're cute as long as they don't sting! Good job to actually get the shot with your hurt wrist, I like how it looks ready to do some damage with that tail up in the air.
