I wanted to take this type of shot for a while and now had my excuse. Those "trees" are only about 2 feet high, except for the big one in background.

I held the camera down on the ground and took 3 bracketed exposures (+2, 0 -2). I the moved a stick to rest lens on - bad idea. The camera was instantly covered in ants. I was able to get another bracketed series, but it wasn't straight and I wasn't going to try again.

No crop!

Very soft and delicate, well done. Sometimes shots are hard to get, but like this one, very worth the effort. Nice.

Cool, it doesn't have the artificial look that so many HDR shots have. I like the kind of swirly patterns in the leaves. Hard to believe the plants are as small as described.

Very pretty trees...the greens are very lush. Being from a very dry climate this looks like something you might come away from all itchy and rashy. Hopefully not though, since you already has to deal with ants.

What in the world would ants want with your camera, I wonder.

Anyway - very beautiful, Ken. Love the perspective and the leafy ceiling it created. Great colors, too.

Freaky perspective. Sorry about the ants - hate ants.

So pretty! Looks very much like an island jungle. The light filtering through the tiny trees' fronds is just beautiful. Very nice capture.

Now this is true HDR! The wee "trees" are really pretty, like ferns...lovely how they filter the sunlight.

Life through the eyes of an insect! Great use of the wide angle lens.

Love the lush green color. The trees look like ferns we use to throw as spears when I was a kid, which was yesterday :-)

I love how wide this is and from the ground as well. I'm deeply considering picking up the 10-22mm for my XTi based on shots like this.
