Went sailing after work today. This is my friend Jim giving his best pirate sneer. Not sure about the BW version, but somehow it gave it more of a nautical feel?

Just one person's opinion, but I think this worked very well, in composition and in conversion to B&W.

He certainly looks like he spends a lot of time on the water. I'll bet he is as tan as shoe leather :)

The B & W was the perfect choice. It really draws attention the the textures of his skin...nicely weathered.

That sneer kind of gives him that salty old sea dog look...very nice tones!

He hates his picture being taken. Why is that? Because every time he sees a picture of himself, he's sneering. ;-)
