Nikita again, helpfully jumping after a laser pointer (I edited the red dot out since it was very distracting)

I quite like the shadow but the photo itself would need better focus and better light to really work. It's good practice though.

hehe I love playing with cats and a laser pointer. (It works with small children too) ;)

The light can be rectified if you bring every lamp you have in your house into the room before beginning :) I used to struggle with lighting too... you will get it. Very creative shot of your lovely kitty :)

I find the shadow very fascinating, it could be interesting if you framed to include it more in your composition.

It looks like you glued that poor kitty to the wall! I really like that shadow, but like you mentioned it would be nice to see a bit more focus. I've been known to move lamps and stuff around for more light, but I don't know if it's possible where you're at.

ShutterPug - Hehe you're right they're quite similar looking in the photos and yes it's too funny when they leap half way up the walls like that :)

lol - I have a jumper that looks like this one's twin. Don't they just crack you up when they do that?

Yes, it would be very fine in focus. Hard to do both the laser and the camera at the same time I bet. I suppose you've already tried pre-focusing as well as successive shots. Anyway a very handsomely patterned cat is delivered in this image.
