Hmmm, just for the record, I don't think your stepson looks uncomfortable. It's a nice pose from both. |

I like this. A lovely portrait of a lovely couple :) I like the higher aperture, it assures everything (and everyone) is in focus :) bwahahhahaaaa |

Ok - obviously and admittedly, I don't know what I'm doing with the camera settings much of the time - I just try stuff that works and I know the basics of what affects exposure. So-- f22 because anything less WAY overexposed and I can only set the shutter speed to about 250 before the timing is off with the lights and I get a black band or a complete miss. I would like to get a good flash shot at f2.8 or less - maybe the lights are a billion candlepower - whaddo I know? :/
I'm very grateful for the comments though - it tells me there is something wrong somewhere and I need to learn more if I want to get these right. THANKS! |

Very nice portrait, even with the eBay cheese setup. I like the contrast between him & her, the smile vs. the "I don't want to do this" look.

f22 YIKES that's scary, I usually hide way down the other end.
That "cheesy" light setup is working great!

She looks so happy, yet he has that deer-in-the headlights look. Not getting cold feet is he? |

Wonderful shot of a lovely couple. Lucky boy.
With that exposure, there must have been a lot of light, still soft light. Very nice. Perhaps you could add a little about the lighting you used. |
