Wow, good catch. I like the extended tongue. I know there are snakes where I shoot, but I never see them.

Cool shot of the snake's tongue. I know what you mean about the battle of the sunlight, especially with water reflections thrown in. I agree with MaryO that a closer crop in on the snake and less wood might be good to try.

Yep, getting the tongue makes this a much more interesting shot. Although seeing his pattern through the water is pretty interesting, too. Do you have the resolution for a tighter crop? That would eliminate the wood, which isn't nearly as cool as the snake and his tongue.
