Not to bad the eyes seem a little dark, maybe small curves adjustment?

Lovely picture, magnificent beast. Had this been high contrast then there would be less grey and more black and white. It might even have enhanced the impact.

The border is a bit thick for my tastes but I wont let that affect my vote. Strong image. One of my top choices for the challenge.
