These are both fantastic. Today I have a slight preference for this one. But I go back and forth. |

The leading lines are really nice. The soft tones and colors really make the scene warm and comforting. The extreme lean of lightpoles and sailmasts looks a bit odd though. |

I prefer this to the b&w version. Such a wash of soft colors, with little reddish dots of artificial light drawing the eye here and there -- it's an appealing scene. I think the forward lamp stands out more in this photo, too. |

Actually, for one I prefer the colour! Both are extremely effective but the instant calming effect this has puts it slightly above the other for me. This is the best kind of HDR processing - it makes the image work more effectively but you can't tell it's there. I was actually surprised to see it was HDR, and that's a real compliment!

Good, but does not have the visual impact IMO as the BW version. |
