 This a reaction commonly used for the fake blood effect: a solution of ferric chloride is dripped into an aqueous solution of potassium rhodanide.

It was a fun shooting session, everyone in our lab was curious what I'm doing :) The shot was set on a workbench on a large sheet of white paper and illuminated with an overhead lamp from left. Processed in Lightroom: slightly rotated and cropped, exposure +0.86, fill lights +14, blacks +18. Exported and opened in Photoshop: curves, shadows +20%, resized, unsharp mask 400%/0.2, border added.

Love the colors of the liquids and their movement but would like to see a sharper edge on the flask.

The choice of colours is interesting in this shot, the rich reds are really appealing and contrast well with the yellow of the liquid. I'm not sure about the 'dropper' above the liquid, it doesn't seem to sit right with the photo. As you have frozen the movement in the liquid, I would also perhaps have tried to freeze a droplet of the liquid falling into the beaker but as it is I think this shot is okay. Overall 6.
