 Took this between rain showers. It was pretty dark and I should have used a tripod.

Perhaps it would have been easier to take the picture with the tripod, but it sure came out well. I like that shallow DOF and how the color stem leads the eye.

Love those rich tones - in that regard the light really worked for you here. Rosehips are so pretty - and you captured this one well.

lovely colors, never saw rosehips look so bright
must be the contrast with the storm sky and lighting

Sharpness looks fine to me, and the color is excellent. Not sure about that other Rosehip creeping into the frame though.

I don't think this suffers much from lack of tripod -- it seems pretty sharp to me. I like the colorful stalk against a dark background.
