This is a nice sharp macro shot which has obviously taken a lot of patience but I can't help feeling the subject is a little bit of a tenuous link to 'Chemistry' - without the title I'm not sure I'd look at this and think of Chemistry. Technically, your highlights have been blown out quite badly and I think a saturation bump could have helped this shot a lot. Overall 4.

You're whites appear to be blown out on my monitor. I do confess I'm viewing on an uncalibrated laptop however

I think a tighter crop towards the top right, removing the stem would have worked better.
