Beautiful scene! Two of them in fact. It's a little tough to decide what to look at. My eyes keep bouncing from the mountains to the foreground log and back again, when what I think I want to look at is the reflection. A square or landscape framing might help, but you really have two shots here. The mountains and reflection, or the foreground vegetation with a bit less background. Beautiful colors and clarity.

Beautiful landscape. Love the reflection of the background in the water, really puts a different contrast in the photo and makes it intreguing.

this is a lovely image, but i'm afraid it's not really a high contrast image. high contrast has a limited tonal range of high and low tones, with very few intermediate tones. the ultimate high contrast is pure black and white, no greys. the more greys or intermediate tones, the less high contrast it is.

This is an excellent image. Beautiful scenery well captured but its not very high contrast. I think it would have done very well in this months free-study.
