| This is a nice shot which really holds interest. The liquid is frozen brilliantly, the subject obviously meets the Chemistry element of the challenge, the different colours work well and the look of intense concentration on the girls face all add a lot to this picture. A couple of technical bits which put me off slightly are the blown highlights and the background which drew my attention trying to figure out what it was. Overall 6. |

| cute image - i especially like the choice to include the lab glasses - thanks! - as a scientist I find shots of people in lab coats without glasses really odd and non-authentic. you did a solid job to have her eyes visitble around the glass flask to provide even more focus on her work |

| I think the background is too bright. darken the background, maybe by moving it further back, would have made it a cleaner picture. |
