Inspiration for Photo: Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. - Walden

This photo was shot on Fuji A200 2.0 megapixel camera. Contast and saturation changes. Also edited out logo on shirt with clone stamp tool plus lighting changes. Then darkened bottom of photo to lose detail of the text on the volkswagen. Also softened face by decreasing saturation.

This photo was shot in front of my buddy's house where we often sit in my 56 limo bus and use his wireless internet.

A real artwork, but too much digital art for my taste.

personally I dont like the selective desaturation you've done here, I'd lke to see the whole thing as a B&W. But thats just my taste so ignore me. Nice shot anyhow.

Cool! I want to learn how to do that!

i gave this one a ribbon (kis of death)
it was a very good picture
the use of color made it great
nice idea and edit

Very interesting the way you removed the color from the rest of the picture.

Intriguing shot, shame there's loss of detail in the highlights and shadows. Is your camera set on it's lowest contrast setting? Great idea and mood, the selective desat works well. Huge shame that there is such a loss of detail in the shadows where the point of focus is.

One of my absolute favourite this week. The color in the sofa is spot on. And the blue/green in the bus. Composition good. 8 from me.

For once, I like this effect - it's perfect for this photo. - 8

great idea, very well executed..I like the partial desat technique, although it doesn`t always score too well at DPC.
Good luck...9

I really like this shot. But I think I would have gone all black and white or all color....wonderful shot though.....7

Really like this - and in general, I absolutely loathe the selective desturation trick. here it seems to have pint, emphasis, and a fittingness to the image beyond the very blunt 'look at this' that it is ususally employed to shout. great feel, great depiction ofan emotion (the warmth of home, however temporary, perhaps). Just a wonderful photograph, really.

I like the battered look of the van, and the picture poses a lot of questions in the viewer's mind. Who is this person? Why is he using a laptop in the van?. Nicely done. (8)

Cleverly done! Iove the selective colorization and concept.

very nice. very graphic. is it too graphic? i don't know...even in all black and white i think i would have liked it more than it being 'shopped.

really nice use of selective coloring. probably my favorite in this challenge.

Really like your use of selective coloring here. It really adds to the feel of the photo and gives it character.

V.nice shot. Not sure about the colouring but I guess you neaded to highlight the person in some way without losing the nice detail of the van.
