I love how you used color contrast to really drive the theme home. Congrats on the top 10 in a great challenge |

Fantastic... The isolation of the swan works very and I like the circular ripples it's bill left. |

Beautiful colors. I wonder if partially desaturating the blues would help the swan stand out even more. |

I would have tried to place the subject to the left to leave more room in front rather then its back. Nice capture and good contrast. 7 |

Oh, my. Wonderful color in the water and lovely composition. The swan looks a little off-white; I'd desaturate on the blue/cyan range to make him whiter so he stood out even more. |

Amazing colours. The crop puts the bird a bit too low in the picture and a bit to centered. I guess you wanted to include the lighter stripe at the top. A tough call. |

I love everything about this photo, the contrasting colours, the ripples and radiating rings from the swan and the reflection. Such a peaceful feel - 10. |

this is a lovely image, but i'm afraid it's not really a high contrast image. high contrast has a limited tonal range of high and low tones, with very few intermediate tones. the ultimate high contrast is pure black and white, no greys. the more greys or intermediate tones, the less high contrast it is. if the shadows between the ripples were darker, this would approach high contrast. |
