A great macro shot which you've clearly been very patient in waiting for. The most striking feature of this picture is the colours of course, the vibrant green background is great on its own but the way the insects pop from the background due to the vibrant tapastry of colour is great. What could have been an 'Eurgh, two bugs at it!' shot becomes a beautiful observation on nature, and I commend you for this.
In terms of illustrating the concept of Chemistry though I do feel like this one falls a little short for my liking. Yes a chemical process is involved here but thats not the over-riding story of the photo and not the feeling I take away from the image. Overall 7. |
