| This is so cool. I have never gotten a worthwhile shot of a Purple Martin. They are always just beyond the reach of my equipment. |

| Great detail on this little one! He doesn't look very downy so he was probably about ready to leave the nest. I often find the just-fledged babies easier to get close to than the more wary adults, regardless of species. This little one looks like he thought maybe you should be doing something more useful, like feeding him ;-) |
