 Had a number of more formal, traditional portrait shots but this one captures a moment and the relationship. Exposure was a challenge with strong, direct sunlight. Image is + .5 exposure compensation, which made the highlights even more blown out but necessary for the faces. Hair was a bit out of control due to a windy day.

Post Processing:
Camera Raw: Many minor tweaks - recover highlights, fill light, temperature / tint, contrast, clarity, exposure

Hi Chris,
I love the composition and the way you brought home the relationship between mom & daughter, well done. I really like the image and just about everything about it, it just seems you got trapped out there in no mans land with a very harsh light & basic editing left your hands tied.
