I get your point, but the picture itself isn't super interesting... I don't know what the best way to photograph this subject would be though... kind of a tough one.

Very interesting choice of crime scene. I like the angle of the sign in the photo. Also the blue in the upper right corner gives a view of the open sky. It also proves that competitive photos do not always require a lot of pre-work sometimes a great photo is right in front of us if we only take the time to notice.

I'm surprised you're the only one who tried this angle for 'Crime Scene'. I thought about doing a similar shot and decided to pass. I like the photo and I'll score it an 8 but I have no sympathy for you: the week you snapped this photo, regular unleaded was at $4.20 a gallon where I live and 'Super' approaching $4.50!

around these parts its almost 5$ a gallon (4.57 to be exact)
