 I'm submitting this just as I'm rushing out the door to work. Wish I could reshoot I really hate the background in this one. But hey when you gotta work on your volunteer model's schedule it leaves you a little limited. Only my second attempt at portraiture, and I have even lower hopes for this one than the last. But hey, let's see what I can learn :)

You know, I was so obsessed with picking out a good pose and getting the background to work that I completely overlooked just how OOF this is. Funny how totally obvious that is now. Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments, espcially chrisgoddard. I feel like I've learned alot from this entry. So even if it sucked I'm still glad I entered it :)

I agree about the OOF but the pose is great. You will find that if you stick with it, you will learn a lot here!

Two things, use a refector or flash on high speed sync and sharpen the pic or use a higher aperture f-stop
