| Nice shot, perhaps a bit tighter of a crop and a bit brighter with a touch more contrast would make a big difference. Even something as simple as Image, Auto Contrast (or Auto Color), then edit, fade back about 50%. A lot more could be done here regarding adjusting the skin tones & levels. |

| Very strong family resemblance. I like the way you emphasized that with the matching colored clothing. I like the focus and DOF and their pleasant natural expressions. The lighting seems unbalanced on the two subjects -- too harsh on him (blown highlight on forehead) and too shaded on her. Also, I wish you had positioned them is such a way that the mother didn't have to crouch to get close to the boy. The posture looks unnatural and uncomfortable. |

| Nice choice of clothing. It seems slightly underexposed. I think a tighter crop would help to improve this shot. |

| good composition, pay attention to your white balance setting on your camera. If it were set to a cloudy day, the skin tones would probably be a little more appealing. good depth of field. |
