Me and my Arabian Gelding Gorgeous Jorge he we have been AHA Region 9 Top 5 Champion 2 years in a row in Hunter Pleasure 50 & Over. I set up the shot on tripod and my sister Sharon shutter button.

Cannot make up my mind about the rider – maybe a picture of just the horse would have communicated success better. But that’s only my opinionâ€Â¦

Horses are such graceful animals, probably would have tried using a fill flash or high speed sync, just to make the picture pop and also to catch some life in the eyes of both subjects.

It seems quite a tight crop to me. And I'd probably move the horse and rider so the sun isn't right on one side of them?
