 I bracketed this and then went way down on shutter time to avoid the blown out sun. The sun and sky looked great, except the clouds moved since I was manually setting shutter time. I ended up using +1, 0, -1.

It looks like the lighthouse is trying to reach the sun, but is tethered by the pier - I'd call it 'reaching'. Beautiful sunset colors and most excellent lines.

Very pretty. Are you still on vacation, or do you live there? :-)

I admit I'm still shooting mostly in Aperture (aka "amateur") mode -- can't seem to make that leap to Manual, even though I know in the long run it will give me more control.
