 This is outside the War Memorial in Caen, France. Inside is a huge memorial of the second world war and also a huge memorial to the 911 attacks. We were there for 3 hours and missed loads, you'd need a day to go round I think!

Unfortunately this had to be taken in bright sunlight. No crop, curves, levels, resize, sfw

That's a very cool sculpture. citymars, I believe the word is the same in English and French.

Funny that "non violence" is written in English. Is it in French on the other side of the monument? Tough lighting conditions, but the photo is a good document of the object.
