 Have no idea how this will do. Taken in my parent's back yard. I'm guessing it will get some DNMC, but that's not, I think, accurate. To the doubters, tell me your eye does not run up and down the trunk. To mean, that line is clearly the subject.

Maybe I should have more faith in DPC.


Post processing involves:
Strong shadows/highlights
Multiply and Screen layers for sky and ground.
Channel mixer for B&W
Cloning layer
USM, Wide radius USM
Color balance for blue tone (works for 'pasta right?)
Neat Image for the grass
Burn, border, BAM!

I really like your tones...remind me of hotpasta :P

Perhaps a little oversharpened with the white lines around the branches, but I really do like this image and the title, great sky as well, nice darks in the trees in the bg...8

looks a bit over-processed and over sharpened to me. Aside from that I love the composition and the scene
