 This was my second trip to the Salmon Creek Observatory in Hyder, B.C. It is known for grizzly spotting. We had heard in town that there was a mother grizzly and her cubs. It was so exciting and I have about 200 pictures from that day...I have some great ones of the cubs...will post them soon. I was on the other side of the road as she was crossing...standing next to three Rangers with their hands on their pistols just in case. They didn't think mama bear would cross right there...it was a surprise for everyone. My hands were shaking...took in auto mode.

She has a hole in her ear and 5 legs? Or is that six? Two bears perhaps? Sure wish I was that close. I have bears in the backyard but not like this.
