Well to start with not that appealing of a subject, still that can still make a good photo.
In this case the technical quality of the photo is not all that it could be. I am not sure B/W was a good choice as it makes the mouse blend in with the rug a bit. Also looking at this photo give me the feeling of a photo that has faded.

I hate it when they do that!!!
I wouldn't realy want to hang this on my wall. Seems more a snap shot than a stroke of photographic genius. However I didn't even enter this challenge so good luck.

Is that a dead mouse? Yuck! Cat is overexposed; the carpet is hard to look at, the mouse blends in with the background. The image as a whole is too flat. In any event, the connection to the theme is not that well demonstrated. Yes, a cat is stronger and more powerful than a mouse, and in that way perhaps this captures the theme. But we can't see the cat's expression, for instance, which would help.

I like the subject and the cinema verite quality - but I wish the focus was clearer - either on the mouse or the cat's face.

Cute title, but technically not a wonderful picture... I would imaging that you were not particularly inclined to pick up the mouse and place it in a more appealingly photogenic location, but it might have been worth trying to find a volunteer to do it as the environment is a little uninspiring. I different viewpoint might have been worth exploring; seeing fluffy's face instead of its arse would improve composition, methinks. Colour would have been my preference (might make the cat more distinctive against the skirting), as would a bit more focus on the corpse. had potential, is a good idea, could do with a little post editting (such a noise reduction with neatimage).

cute cat...but I'm not sure what's going on here, and I'd like to see fluffy's face.

Eww...first dead mouse I've encountered on this site. Guess it is powerful, though.

Image is overexposed. I cannot make out the object on the floor. Image doesn't convey strength to me. Cute cat though, looks very soft.

Too white. Focus not clear. Subject not clear. Uncomfortable to look at. Sorry. 1

over processed.

Good idea. Needs more contrast. Unfortunately, you will get hit hard by animal lovers for this one.

Seems a litle overesposed. Shorter exposure and more contrast would have been better I think.
