As I wander about in my role of "tourist", I find that it's impossible to get some shots without cars or people. I also find that those shots tend to be rather boring. The cars and people, to me, add an interesting juxtaposition. There's the old, then there's the here and now. You got amazing detail in the bricks here, and did a very good job bringing out the clouds.

Good job at capturing the stormy day look.

Wrong castle... looks similar from that point of view though.

with the people and cars in the photo it just looks like a random tourist picture.. take the people and cars out and I like it.

Cool shot, but a bit flat. Maybe a bit of contrast would really help this stand out more.

It's hard to take a photo that really "pops" out on a day like this.

Good, balanced composition. However, the overall design suffers due to the presence of cars (I always find them ruinous to images of this type) and of people in brightly colored clothes right along a major leading line. Overcast weather is good for close-ups and texture shots, but not so suitable for wider views like this. Spot lighting (As in a bit of sunlight peeking throuh a crack in the clouds and hitting the building) would have elevated this image to a whole new level...Well, I am never patient or determined enough to just sit there for hours and hope that that would happen, myself. So I shouldn't preach either.

Arundel Castle, is it not? Not the classic view which includes the River Arun. But interesting.

Would have been a little nicer without the cars there.

Either HDR or intensity on Shadow/Highlight has given this image an almost drawing feel to it. Needs more depth in the sky.
