Beautiful picture! I think its just the frame that bugs me a little - 8

of all the pictures showing this subject, this one stands out. i think it's because the cement is so patchy and peeling. it looks cracked and unstable, but is still a great symbol of strength for so many people.

Wonderful picture...I like this one..I keep coming back to it..thinking the border is the only weak spot...then I think maybe..it was done "out of balance".. on purpose..sort of cool

I love the perspective, think your image is strong enough to be an 8 without the frame. As it is, the frame distracts, and I cannot rank it that high. I don't like overpowering frames, and that one is asymmetrical to boot.

Interesting subject. Nice, simple photo, I like the angle.

I like the construction of the cross - that it seems to be reinforced by the lateral parts in the blocks instead of being a solid mass, it reinforces the theme, though the cracks in the middle find me worried about its durability

I think this depicts the challenge very well. THe angle is all-important to achieving this effect. Good job. I vote 8.

I wish there was something else in the frame for context or to add a more creative element. I'd lose the border, too.

I like this photo, colors and composition, major problem for me is the framing, you have total control on it, but you chose to make each side of the frame a different width.

A smaller border would have helped this shot.

Nice diagonal placement. Blue/black framed border works ok but I wonder why you have a larger border on the left? To me, if there is a larger border, it should have been at the bottom.

well taken, the material also adds to the theme.

seen several crosses already. this is my favorite so far, though it would be better without the uneven border
