I like the blending of tones on this, but it seems a bit dark. A soft diffussed light to add more contrast to the shadowed areas would have helped. |

An interesting idea. I love globes so I am drawn to this entry. I think lighting could be more even but then again the dark shadows provide a little more drama. |

Because.... this person has six fingers??? Perhaps power to MOVE the world would have been another optional title... |

This is an absolutely beautiful photo, but ... without the title there is nothing about it that visually says strength to me. |

Very nice. I like the idea, the focus and light. |

Pretty picture, but unfortunately, the hightlight on the globe is blown out pretty dramatically. This is, granted, incredibly picky... it seems that the back of the hand is every-so-slightly soft: this can be improved in 2 ways -- smaller apeture or position the camera further away and use zoom. |

Nice technical quality! The only thing I would point out that there is a difference between "power" and "strength". Power is a more generic term, while strength is a word describing physical attributes such as raw strength and longevity. (you are by no means the only one. Check out this thread: kamps.org/g/?vkmv) I think you picture describes "power", but not "strength", and hence falls outside of the challenge. Sorry. (2) |
