I was surprised (and pleased) by the top-10 on this one. I had not expected it. Credit for an assist goes to Pawdrix, who I was driving around that Tuesday. We were down at the marsh, I was sitting in the car, he was trudging around out there, came back and was chimping me his shots. This was midday, really quite flat light, but he had some shots of this skiff with less of a WA lens, and I saw some potential there, so schlepped over with my 10-22mm and had at it.

The problem was, this was soaking my shoes. I wasn't dressed for marsh-beating, hadn't been planning to do any. So my deck shoes ended up grungy and smelly, which is a bummer...

It's odd I've looked at this shot many times and never even noticed the bird/dot. It's strange what annoys people and weirder that half the time it's things I barely would notice, dare mention.

Very pretty. Such a gorgeous perspective. I'm really drawn to the sky. Such lovely details and color in it.

Oh! This one is just lovely! You will laugh at me, but I thought the Blue Ribbon winner was YOURS when I was looking at the photos during the challenge...::sheepish grin::...but this one is just every bit a winner in my eyes! Well done and congrats on Top 10!

What is that black dot over the centre horizon. An errant bird? Bit annoying for me. But obviously the only one who thought so.

what do i like to see more, the sky or the grass with leading rope ? in this particular case --> the bottom. sky and clouds are nice but compositionally wise i would like to see more of the lower part ... hey this is just me with 2 good landscape shots in my hobby career :-)

good photo overall.

This is a very nice image. I like the composition and it has great color and detail. If anything, I would suggest a touch more brightness and contrast.
