I don't normally do "arty" titles, but this one most captures what I like about this photo. The light was moving about lots in the few minutes I was there, I had some in full sunlight, some in shade, and I was quite pleased with this one where I caught some of the field in shade and some not.
Shot in a field somewhere near Oundle, not 100% sure I could find it again lol. We got a bit lost and ventured off the Ordnance Survey map we had in the car.
Editing pretty simple: convert from RAW, Resize, USM, Clarify, bit of HSL to darken greens and lighten yellows.
And yes, I know the horizon is not level, it's on a hill. |

very nice! Scenes like this, I alway wish I coulnd see more of. Like in a panoramic view, or simply be there.
Good job! |

Nice serene scene, I love the lone tree. It may have looked a little better if the horizon was level but still a nice image. |

Very nice colors and minimalism. I like the tiny little house on the far right. This brought me to the thought of how this may have been improved by shooting a different angle....placing the tree in the lower left third, and the house along the right as it is here. |

great image! you may want to consider a bit of cropping to enhance the loneliness of the tree: a crop up from the bottom to just under the dark horizontal streaks in the foreground, a crop from the left to remove the shadow creeping in at the side, and a tiny crop from the right to remove the element on the horizon. After those, some cropping from the top might be warranted to restore the balance and structure of the composition. Or, you may want to consider disregarding this suggestion completely! :-) 8 |

The lines really bring this picture into focus. Without them, the field wouldn't have felt the depth that it does. Good Job |

Nicely seen. I like that you didn't over saturate the colors like so many others did. I might tilt the shot about 2 degrees left to make the horizon level. :~) |

this looks great but the burning around the tree is a little much. |
