This looks like a great wildlife art painting. Very stylized and refreshing. Love the muted colors. |

I was just about to write how I love the camoulage quality that the texture provides the image, and then I noticed your title. :) I love that you captured the deer in that moment of absolute alertness. Wonderful shot. |

well you nailed this one judy .. you're a lucky lady having deer, and heaps of them, just roaming around .. i reckon they are the most beautiful animals .. i love your processing on this .. the tones, the general feel .. i love how its looking straight at you ..
also there is a sort'v smudge that could almost be a cow grazing in the background .. !! ..
OMG .. i had another look and it became another deer ... i didnt notice its head at first .. LOVE IT ..!!
excellent how it wasnt immediately obvious .. a bit like an optical illusion .. great work .. :) |

Sweet, Judy. I love this whispiness and the ghost deer in the background.
Tones are fantastic for the subject. |

This overlay business mystifies me? How do you decide what makes a photo a good candidate? How do you decide what makes a good layer? I'm beginning to think the answer is "You don't, you just try it". Jutilda can make magic out of anything. |

Great capture. They look like they're ready to walk right up to you. I love the tones -- very "deerlike". |
