Too easy still gets a 9

I am not a lover of flag waving shots, lets keep it non political.
Great picture, I have not voted it down because of the overtones.

I really like your picture. To me, our American Flag does symbolize strength and courage. The focus and composition are great. The red looks a tiny bit oversaturated on my monitor.

This sort of submission is pretty arrogant. Isn't this a photography challenge? To its credit, the shot is well taken.

Nice action photo, good idea for the challenge. The lighting is nice, although, I think that I would have liked to see the rest of the bottom of the flag, I think that it is leading my eye out of the photo with the bottom off the photo. Otherwise, a good job!

Nice capture. Excellent color, contrast, and clarity.

Nice lighting - adds a lot. Good placement. For some reason the starts appear a light blue which detracts a bit.

Nice, but it should be reversed so that we see it the way it actually should be seen.

I feel like you cut to much of the bottom of the picture and left to much space at the top, feels like its not stable or something. anyway good luck :)

This is real irritating to me, as you never display the American flag with the blue field of stars to the right, they should always be on the left side. Wish there was more light on the truck at the top of the flagpole.

Again!

The light seems a bit gold....sunset? Very nice. Love the colors, motion and focus.
Good work good shot of old glory.

For some reason we always get a lot of american flags in these challenges. I like to vote on a) uniqueness and originality b) good composition c) excellent lighting that makes the image "pop" (I have trouble with this myself) d) good DOF (if appropriate) and e) a crisp, clear image free of tons of noise and compression artifacts. I'm starting to feel the american flags are not as unique anymore. This one has good composition and the lighting (compared to others in this challenge) really enhances the image, plus it's sharp and clear. The deeper blue in teh sky may have worked well, but overall it's very nice. I realize I'm only one voter. This is actually one of the best flag images in this challenge (or in others) and I know it is a symbol of strength to the many americans who participate in these challenges, I'm just finding the symbolism doesn't speak much to me and it's not a very unique idea anymore - 6

strength or domination?

you could have flopped this 180 degrees. we are trained to look at a flag with the pole on the left. there is no rule, but it would have been more appealing.

A very subjective submission. I think this is a symbol of power (without going into the discussion as to wether or not the power is deserved), but not necessarily of strength.

Great colour saturation, shame the flag is the wrong way round. Did u consider flippin it? Possibly zoom out a bit? Or crop tighter at the top?
