wow you controlled the sun, and yet the building was lit up, aha or was there a filter used ! the statue on the left is nice too.

I have one like this of the twin towers a short time before the planes hit it. I like this photo too. It's not a 10 but it is appealing to the eye. Has emotion to it.

Where is the sin?
The picture quality is not very good.

The composition and imagry are good but the flare and exposure problems are had to recover from. Great effort, though.

Vote 6, I don't really get it.

Opposite of sin, right? The multi-level solar flares really degrade this image, sorry, I have no suggestions. I do like the starring of the sun, that's cool and the silhouette of the statue, also cool. Overall, the best I can go is a 7. Swash

"saw"? past-tense?
10/16/2002 01:23:00 PM
I'm struggling to see which sin this is, unless it signifies repentance against sins.

I like the sun burst effect though. I hope you didn't ruin your camera shooting into the sun.

Too much noise. There's gotta be a sweet spot somewhere that's not so bright. Nicely framed shot. though.

A bright light it was, too! Overall, I would have taken the brightness down, and it would have stopped the "overexposed" look, even though that may have been intentional. Sin redeemed, good thought. Tighter crop would have eliminated scaffolding or whatever at lower right. 6 nards656

the lens flare is neat and well placed but the subject doesn't really attract me much. I'm actually more drawn the the shadowed figure on the bottom left than I am to the sun or the building in this shot. neat shot, but it just doesn't do much for me. 6

I'll have to revisit this later in the week and see if I can find the tie in to '7 deadly sins'... But topic aside, it's a very nice shot... One small nitpick if I may = the horizon is slanted to the left just enough to be distracting. At least to me. Also the TV antenna's on the right doesn't add much for me... If I'm missing something obvious topicwise, please feel free to PM me if you want. ~MyQyl~

Great shot! Not really a sin though, but I like the idea
10/14/2002 10:59:00 PM
Very nice shot, but to me this doesn't depict any sinl
10/14/2002 10:28:00 PM
not sinful
10/14/2002 07:57:00 PM
Beautiful framing and effects.
10/14/2002 06:47:00 PM
Interesting idea. Maybe could have been better framed and better exposed. 6/10

i see it too... : )

Salvation as a sin? Interesting. But the photo is boring.
10/14/2002 02:06:00 PM
I am not sure how this fits within the current challenge
10/14/2002 11:15:00 AM
Not entirely sure what you are trying to say.
10/14/2002 08:49:00 AM
Which of the seven sins are you addressing here, I am afraid I cannot see it.. let me know and I will revise my vote... technically a great photo though.marksimms

interesting photo... which of the sins are you trying to portray here? - setzler

It's a pretty cool picture. I'm not sure how this fits into the challenge. It is a bit leaning methinks and there's some LOUD noise between the towers under the sun. Good luck this week.
10/14/2002 05:05:00 AM
Nice, creative shot, good lookin'.
10/14/2002 01:06:00 AM
Beautiful picture, I am just not too clear on which sin it is showing. I even like the flare from teh sun. (7) MarkRob
