 An end of an old bench, which was made out of a log. It has been sitting outside so long, and beaten by rain, wind and splashes of sea water, that it has turned into a wood that looks like it was burned. Well, I guess that's basically the same process, but just pretty much slower... :)

Sugarpie: not quite ribbon yet, but much improvement from my last entry. :) Almost to the top third, missed that by one place. :D
