 Simple by the window shot.
Placed a yellow card behind the roses as is obvious from the photo. Why assistant (aka wife) held a white card to the right to reflect some light back onto the scene.

processing was trivial.
Raw conversion
Adjusting the WB (all that yellow doesn't help the Auto WB)
Export to PS
Cloned a few dark spots on the rose
Re-size
USM
Finished.

Hi Glenn,

Nice image, it is simple yet very effective. The image for me has lots of interest. The color scheme is well done as is the composition/framing. Your exposure is dead on and the details in the rose are excellent. The image is clean & sharp, & I like the frontal bok makes the image more interesting imo. Your title fits the challenge very well also. One credit is do, that of the assistant for a job well done :).

Brilliant title that made me laugh out loud....More than that a rather lovely shot that meets the challenge well - I might have been tempted to lose the foreground rose but nonetheless a strong 8 from me

Beautiful! I like how the entire image is vibrant and colorful, yet there is still a 'point of color'.
