 The title comes from the old CBS Saturday morning kids show.

Not sure how this one will do. Depends on how much I'm penalized for being literal on this. Made a 16x16 square "checkerboard" in PS, and used free transform to distort and modify several different versions. I then printed this at 8"x8" to be the background so the effect would be exaggerated.

Anyway, we'll see what the voters think.

Not sure about the purple color cast. Also would like to have seen the pattern reflected more in the marble. Well composed.

This is probably a contender for a ribbon, well done crisp shot with a beautiful vibrant blue. Excellent composition.

I like what you are attempting here, but, I think this image suffers from the lighting, still a fair score : ).

The white squares don't look white, they're a wierd reddish blue--it's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to see it fixed in PS with a simple whitebalance adjustment. My other criticism is that there's a partial and distracting reflection of the marble in the lower right. Since it's advanced editing, you should clone that sort of thing out.

A good setup choice for the challenge. With advanced, you can tone down the hotspot on the ball if you wish, and the slight reflection on the forward black square.
