 This was taken in Salida, Colorado. It was a gray day and this red kayak really stood out on the river. The shirt the boy was wearing was the same color as the water and the ends of his paddle were, too - kind of a gray/beige color. The red really stood out.

Editing:

Crop, levels, curves, exposure tool, resize, smart sharpen on boat and surrounding area only, diffuse glow, burn a few areas of the life jacket, sharpen tool on areas of kayak.
