I thought this was brilliant. But what do I know. I guess I just see the scene (brilliant) and only later see your field of view starts and ends a bit too soon - I'll never learn. All by way of saying this was the most meaningful imaginative interpretation in the challenge. |

The first impression is fine, but having a pole in the middle is always disappointing and the boy attracts enough attention to deserve more focus |

Strikes me as a snapshot, I'm afraid. Could possibly benefit from a little color adjustment and sharpening. You definitely met the challenge topic, though! |

This looks like it cold use a touch more contrast. On my screen, there aren't any white highlights anywhere; things that should be white are gray instead. Perhaps, however, you did this on purpose to create mood. The overall grayness does give the image a very gloomy atmosphere. Also, it's difficult to tell, but to my eyes the focus seems a little fuzzy. However, the composition is marvelous! :) |

If the subject is the blue trash can, then it's out of focus. Since it's overcast, you probably can't shoot at a higher aperture and thus -need- to pay attention to the depth of field. Other than that, this scene with the muddled sky and seemingly glum people has alot of potential. |
