It's not really the color that draws the viewer's attention, it's more the fact that the subject fills the frame. |

I'm guessing you used a flash, because the light is harsh and facing your camera. A good way to correct this is to use a diffusion filter over the flash, which provides a burst of light without the 'beam' that causes a blowout of your highlights. You can pay money for one, OR you can pick up a sample book of filters for FREE that literally has thousands of filters with descriptions of their use. Simply cut them out, and use them! You can even get an attachment that snaps onto your lens and lets you swap em out. You have to pay 5 bucks for that, but it's so worth it. |
